Let Northram stand alone with egg on his face trying to explain why the violence rally he was talking about didn't materialize.
Turn the tables on him. Don't give him the "ammunition" (pun intended) he needs to further his gun-grab agenda.
Show the media and the rest of the country that he is crying wolf by calling for emergency measures and banning guns on the capitol grounds. Make him look like he's the wild-eyed fool he is.

While what the author says is mostly true, he is wrong in blaming Virginia’s conversion from red to blue on Obama’s growing bureaucracy.
Virginia turned blue because of the huge influx of illegal aliens into northern Virginia. In the democrat controlled areas of northern Virginia, illegal aliens (and green card non-citizen immigrants) were registered in large numbers by democrats and their allies (SEIU, etc.) and flipped statewide votes for governor and attorney general, and now the house and senate.
Ironically, they did it with Republican establishment and Chamber of Commerce help and apathy.
Now in total power, like California,they are changing laws to make Virginia into East California.
I’ve read some ominous suggestion that leftists may be trying to turn this event into another Las Vegas Mandalay Bay Hotel massacre.
To nip this in the bud, President Trump could assign some US Marshal counter-snipers on several rooftops there. As long as there was prior notification to both the state police and event organizers, at best this would just mean that nothing would happen other than a peaceful demonstration.
Of course, if governor Northam vehemently objects...

Governor Ralph “Jolson” Northam Declares State Of Emergency.
Within the first 48 hours of taking over the Virginia legislature in 2020, Democrats passed their first of many proposed gun laws and banned the carry of firearms on the property of the state capitol and other government offices.
The people of Virginia spoke up and declared it would be their last term in office. The government responded with a motion to eliminate voter ID laws.
Virginia decided then that they wouldn’t wait for another election. A petition to remove Governor Northam began circulating as well as other petitions to remove delegates from office. When the petition received almost a third of the signatures needed to recall the governor, a new bill was introduced to raise the amount of signatures needed from 10% of the prevailing vote, to 25%.
Other bills in session in the 2020 legislature:
SJ 6 – Which changes the governor’s term from 4 to 8 years. SB 399 – Virginia’s electoral votes for president will go to the candidate who has won the national popular vote. It will no longer matter who many Virginians vote for in presidential races.
SJ 9 and SJ 14 – Restores felons’ abilities to vote.
SJ 29 – Changes how Governors, Lieutenant Governor and Attorney General are elected. Previously, the candidate receiving the most votes statewide would be elected.
Proposed: change to who wins the majority in Congressional districts.
Would be impossible to do, can’t be done. Not to say that he will not try to weave deception around the whole thing.

There is a part of me that wonders if he is going down this road because Pelosi, et. al., want to distract from impeachment. I don’t know - just something that keeps bothering me. Soros and Bloomie poured tons of money in the elections so he owes them. That plus the price of the dems not demanding his resignation is him pushing their agenda.
