I worked in Norway for years. Its whole economy was based on capitalism. The people accepted high taxes to pay for their social welfare system. It was their choice and it works. Taxes are high.

However capitalism underlies all of this. This is not the model Bernie wants. His model is the failed Soviet Union. Bernie is just an old communist beyond his expiration date.

He still believes Marx was right.

It was their choice and it works.

It works IF, and this is a big IF, the people have a good work ethic and cheating the system is frowned upon.

It could never work in this country for that exact reason.
