And then what? A king?

Nah.

I don’t like what’s going on in Congress either, but the Legislative branch is still important.

I’m saying we simply have no federal laws.

Or, instead of having a national legislature, the states should get together in legislative conventions the same way the Constitution is amended. But not 535 people in a city on the East Coast dictating everything for everyone. No national law should exist unless approved of by 2/3 of the state governments.
