“You should check out Brother series of Monochrome Laser Printers. Very inexpensive and very reliable. I have a HL-L2300D and have no complaints.”

I stand by Brother printers.

Here in the house we have three operating 24/7 and a fourth that we take with us to conferences.

High quality and reliable.

I’ve used Brother printers for a long time - reliable and cheap - especially when compared to buying ink if one doesn’t need color.

Best part of those is you can buy refill kits to hack your toner cartridge. I refill mine once every three years thru a capped hole in the cartridge.

Color is not needed unless you are a photographer. Color is useless actually.

Two Brother units and zero complaints.

My sales people and other work from home scammers always ask for a printer recommendation. Brother I say. They install well on our laptops.

What do almost all buy? The cheap and buggy HP. I tell any and every one to avoid Has Problems.

Every so often, one of the hard of hearing will call me to fix a printer problem. Technically I am not responsible beyond installing the drivers. No admin rights for most regulars. Always HP with a wireless problem. I tell them to get a USB cable.
