RE: Models are fine for some purposes like calculating the yield of a nuclear weapon, but in a politically charged and deceitful environment such as we have, where there are so many factors that can be fed into a model, and many of those factors are guesses.
Welcome to the world of Climate Change modelling as just another example. Is it any wonder why they keep telling us environmental armageddon is just 12 years away?
I don’t know...that whole “we’re going to be dead in 12 years” thing has been a great source of entertainment for me.
Any human with two remaining neurons to rub together hearing this (even someone who might have thought there WAS a climate problem that needed addressing) has to have an exasperated, eye-narrowing sarcastic thought of “Really?”
It’s like the guy wearing the sandwich board ringing a bell saying we are all going to die on Sunday night, and Sunday comes and goes without the end of time.
It is my hope that someday, people who push this climate alarmism are viewed by society the same way we viewed those people predicting doom while wearing sandwich boards and ringing a bell.
