Citing Politico?
I listen to Mark everyday. He doesn’t talk like that.
You wanted links. I provided them. Yeah, Levin is on the Trump Train now but he sure wasn’t at first and condescendingly so. Go back and look at my original post. You’ll see I referred to Levin in the past tense.
there was a big Question mark about whether Trump was the real deal...I had my doubts and voted for Trump because I am an almost never Demacrat voter and felt there was no way that I could allow the Arkansas arm of the Mafia back into the white house.
Drudge sold his site to Google. To hell with Drudge and the left wing Trump hating site that still has his name on it!
And Politico lied. I just went back and watched his 2016 CPAC speech, said no sucb thing.
Like millions of conservatives like me Trump wasn’t our pick. It was Cruz. After Cruz I was for Trump because the rest were jokes except for Dr. Carson but he wasn’t going to win.
Like Mark, I’ve been pleasantly surprised how conservative Trump is. I don’t like his spending though.
I remember them too and they were nowhere near ‘antiTrump’ and not even tirades.
Criticism of some things Trump does isn’t being ‘antiTrump,’ it’s just criticism, and criticism is often illuminating and constructive.
Did your feelings get hurt and did you think the teachers were out to get you when “anti-mbrfl” teachers used red ink to circle your mistakes when you were in school, or did you take it at face value and use it to review your work to see if your reasoning was as clear and sound as it should have been, you overlooked something, or there was room for improvement?
It was personal
Tween him and Trump
Mark was a Cruzbot ....as was I till Trump started talking early 2015
Like man here Mark could not fathom how Trump rolled over everyone
Then it got personal cause Mark was allying with serious Trump haters and that asshole Beck
Trump alleged something about books and Marks wife.....
Then at the end mark decided Trump had to be supported
And Trump supposedly at Laura ingraham and Bannon and Rush insistence offered the peace pipe
They rented a room together and have been bear meets bear lovers since ...lol....thats a joke
I havent forgotten Marks crap and often he goes a bit NeoCon about southerners
But he is a stalwart more often than not
So not guilty with qualifications
Trump was wise to reach out
To say Levin didn’t engage in anti-Trump tirades is demonstrably false, and his criticisms were anything but illuminating or constructive.
Here’s only one link of many that I could share with you if you’d like.

This is Levin in his own words saying to count him as never-trump. I have no problem with legitimate criticism of Trump, but there was nothing reasoned or principled with Mark’s comments during this period. The reasons he gives in this article for why he is never Trump? Well, for one he cites Roger Stone. If you remember back at the time Stone and Levin were feuding over something. I don’t even remember what had started it, but the point is it occurred long after Stone had left the Trump campaign. But Mark was using his disagreement with Stone as a reason for not voting for Trump. Give me a break. Another reason he cites is the Michelle Fields ‘incident’. This was ten days after the video had been released showing what a fraud the whole thing was. But Mark was having none of it. He was making the case that this already disproven ‘assault’ on the part of Corey Lewandowski was good reason to be never-Trump.
No, Mark was anything but principled and constructive during that period. It’s pretty obvious he was being ruled by his emotions and ego, not reason. Levin was a Cruz supporter and had a family member working for Cruz’s campaign. Whether that or some other reason caused him to be so irrational during that time, I don’t know, but he clearly was.
I have plenty more examples I can share with you of Levin’s nasty, irrational behavior during that time if you like, so Mark’s in no position to lecture anyone about TDS, whether it be Drudge or anyone else.
