Thanks...I have, in the past, attempted to preferentially buy American, and it isn’t easy in all cases. Plus, it is often more expensive.
But this is a good wakeup call for people to make those choices, and this helps.
Wanna’ save this.
GREAT!! Thanks for posting!

My first 3D printer was a cheap, Chinese piece of crap, but I will admit, there were two reasons to purchase it:
So, when I determined that I was really going to dig into this hobby, I made a bigger purchase, and decided to buy American.
When I decided on this model, I was told support was excellent and responsive, and the product was great, so after purchasing it, I got the initial invoice, but nothing after that, so I sent a polite email to their sales, and also left a polite voicemail on their support line asking for verification and when I might reasonably expect to have it shipped.
I understand with everything going on, things might be quite delayed, so it wasn't a negative message.
That evening I got a phone call from the CEO of the company, and the next morning, he emailed me a photo of my printer being assembled.
THAT alone is a good reason to buy American!
Good work, ‘pede!
Interesting story about Bic lighters which are listed here. Back in the 80s I wholesaled Bic lighters to gift shops in Florida. Around that time Bic moved the manufacturing of the lighters into Mexico.
All of a sudden, more or less, I discovered that all of my lighter customers had stopped buying because the lighters were defective. In addition to that of course I had to go around and pick up hundreds and hundreds of blighters. Bic made good on all those bad lighters I had to pick up but I lost a lot of sales during that period.
I had to quit selling them. It wasn’t long before Bic moved production completely out of Mexico and back to the US. I don’t know if they still are but they were at some point making them in Canada as well.

No power tool manufacturers have a large percentage of products that are made in the USA. Many are 100% foreign made. Closest any come to made in the USA is;

For people in CNY, mattresses made right in town are at Syracuse Mattress.
We’ve been buying mattresses from them for years. They gave us a tour of their factory once, years ago.
I hear that in WNY, Jamestown mattress makes their own, too.
