I don’t see a single intelligent or useful comment on this thread yesterday that “deems” it fake news.

All I find is a minority of posters with empty “fake news” posts.

It’s not just Mr Ivanka, it is Ivanka herself who is damaging not only Trump’s administration but the entire country with her liberal-leaning crap. It’s long past time for Trump to send them both packing back to NY where they belong. No one elected them to anything.

The goal of the left is for the media and its unwitting tools to play the role of community organizer in the Alinsky game of LET’S YOU AND HIM FIGHT . aka Divide and Conquer.

Yes, some Trump advisers are occasionally wrong. And sometimes Trump listens to the wrong advisers. That is the real world.

Compare it to a football game. The wide receiver wants every play to be a pass. The right guard wants every play to be a run. The QB coach wants to be more aggressive than the offensive coach. The defense coach thinks he should be listened to more.

The head coach has to keep all the coaches and players happy and positive.

I wonder what relationship Kushner and his brother have with the Saudis, Goldman-Sachs and George Soros? I’ve read rumors but who knows.

What is it with this piecemeal crap on immigration?

This should be part of a Comprehensive Immigration Enforcement bill, missing since 1986 ONE TIME amnesty. The List of Comprehensive Immigration Enforcement, missing since 1986 goes like this -

1) southern barrier;
2) require eVerify to hire;
3) end all chain migration;
4) birthright per Minor v. Happersett (plural parents);
5) end work visas;
6) 10-year moratorium on all new applications for citizenship (40 years to allow workplace automation effects on downsizing population);
7) Set up an illegal aliens’ victim restitution fund.

Enactment of these provisions will motivate illegal aliens to SELF-deport, and remove colonizadors from our welfare rolls.

That is a very selective read. Here is the full paragraph, which you carefully quoted:

“The ban applies only to those seeking legal residency. It therefore misses the mark because, as Jessica Vaughan of the Center for Immigration Studies explains, ‘there will be only a modest impact since 60% of green card applicants are already here (80% of employment category is already here).’ In other words, the ban applies to the only group of foreign nationals who are not coming to the United States specifically to take a job, while making exemptions for H1B, H2A, and H2B visas. Trump’s immigration proclamation actually exempts some of the largest sources of immigration and specifically economic categories which negatively affect jobs and wages for American workers.”

The ban, in fact, does not ban “most” immigration as you said incorrectly. The exempted visas — including H1B, H2A, and H2B — are large sources of legal and illegal immigration. Tens of thousands of these workers come legally, overstay their visas, and transform into illegals overnight. Trump said the purpose of the suspension was to protect jobs, yet he exempted visas for immigrants coming to the US specifically to take jobs. That should not be so difficult for you to understand.

Also, you did not read carefully about the EB-5 visa program. Unless you think selling citizenship, and mostly to Chinese investors, is as American as apple pie? In which case, you are not very American at all.

From USCIS, which oversees the EB-5 program: “In May 2017, USCIS conducted an internal fraud assessment and identified 19 cases of confirmed national security concerns. Specifically, the national security concerns identified related to terrorism, espionage, information and technology transfer, or a combination of these factors.” https://www.uscis.gov/tools/resources-congress/testimonies-and-speeches/hearing-citizenship-sale-oversight-eb-5-investor-visa-program-senate-committee-judiciary-june-19-2018-uscis-director-l-francis-cissna
