Although Roberts sometimes tends to go with where the political winds are blowing, he has been on the right side for most important decisions.
On crushing people's constitutional rights with senseless, arbitrary diktats, I doubt if he is going to rule for crazy, tyrannical governors like Whitmer. She has made it quite easy for her opponents to win in court.

Not even close. Warren and Blackmun were far worse, and were appointed by Eisenhower and Nixon.
