Is Joe Biden a creep and a pervert who very well could have committed this act? Of course he is. But it must be remembered that she did not accuse Joe Biden of sexual assault in 1993. It must be remembered that she did not even accuse Joe Biden of sexual harassment in 1993.

Her original complaints dealt with bullying and harassment from the staff. Only after she got nowhere with that did she ramp up and escalate her claims.

Reade is really no better and no different than Ballsy Ford.

Nope.

She has corroboration.

She worked for him, they knew each other, the opportunity was there.

Ballsy Ford had neither.

When is Joe Biden going to be asked were you ever alone with Tara Reade?

I’d love to hear that answer.

Entirely different from Ballsy. Every one of Ballsy’s corroborators said they don’t remember it or it didn’t even happen, every single one of them. Ballsy couldn’t even establishment that she even knew Kavanaugh. Ballsy hides from scrutiny. Reade’s corrabors all say her story hasn’t changed. Reade worked in Biden’s office. Reade wants scrutiny and doesn’t hide.

“Reade is really no better and no different than Ballsy Ford.”

Actually much better and different. Ford’s friend refused to corroborate her story. Reade has several people who confirm that they were told of the assault in 1993 at the time it happened.

Ford was also very vague on her facts and recollections.

There is a tape of her mother calling in to the Larry King show back in 1993 stating her daughter had been sexually harassed while working for a prominent senator in Washington. Couple all of this with Joe Biden’s strange almost perverted behavior with women in public forums and you have a very strong case against ‘plugs’.

You have to remember context. In 1993 a woman would of had to have a tremendous amount of self-assurance and a really good personal support system to bring a charge of sexual assault against a sitting U.S. Senator. The “Good Old Boy” culture really did exist and would have come to Biden’s defense.

It must be remembered that she did not even accuse Joe Biden of sexual harassment in 1993. Her original complaints dealt with bullying and harassment from the staff.

From The Union article on April 3 2019:

“I was trying to be seen as a professional,” Reade added.

Reade said her expulsion from Biden’s office stemmed from an early 1993 staff argument over the suggestion she serve drinks at an event. According to Reade, Biden wanted her to serve because he liked her legs. Reade didn’t hear Biden make that suggestion, instead learning of it through his staff’s argument. Reade opted against serving drinks, a move she believes sidelined her career.

Make of it as you will. According to the article's description of her recollection, the primary source was the staff, but the staff relayed that it was Biden who was the source of the request to serve drinks "because he liked her legs."

Why would the staff insert Biden's name into their argument with Reade? What staff would take it upon themselves to impugn their boss (a Senator, no less), unless they felt comfortable doing so?

This incident is a classic example of a hostile work environment, which is a form of sexual harassment. I don't think it's plausible to assume that the staff went rogue and that Senator Biden was unaware of how his staff in his office was operating.

I mean what type of grown man talks about a 14 year olds breast . I have unusually bad manners and I have never even thought of doing this.

I read today that she filed a police complaint when it happened. That was the first I heard that. That would be a game changer. We’ll see if it is true.

No different than Ballsy Ford? Hardly. Ford couldn’t remember ANYTHING about the “attack.” She accused Kavanaugh of a clumsy teen high school student briefly fondling her with her clothes on. There was NO corroboration of it. Nobody remembered it.

The Reade accusation has many credible corroborators, contemporaneous reporting, possibly a police report, and probably a Senate personnel file report. Plus it was FORCIBLE vaginal insertion by a U.S. Senator.

You think these are the same?
