Exactly. I haven’t seen an hourly wage earner or small businessman tout the good of continued lockdowns.

Marxism can’t get traction without destruction of the middle class.

The slogan ‘we are in this together,’ makes me want to puke, this one from Hillary is just as mindless and repulsive.

Climate change transgresses boundaries, of both natural and human-defined separations. Many of its effects know no boundaries. Yet some bear the brunt and the consequences far more than others, and are far more vulnerable. Climate change reminds us that we are all in this together.

Our pastors sermon was about Peter getting out of the boat and walking on water towards Jesus during the storm.

He started the sermon off talking about the various TV ads and the together we can do this, etc. And how they make him cringe.

“They make it sound like we are all in the same boat. Except we aren’t. We are all in the same storm - but not the same boat. Some folks have lost jobs and businesses and are in need of help. (Our church has been helping to feed 300 families during this time.) Some folks are young and healthy and want to get back to work. Some folks are elderly with health conditions and afraid. Many of us still have good jobs and can work from home. We aren’t all in the same boat!”

Doctors have a single type of expertise. Period. They can have their input, but a strong executive needs to weigh in and make a rational decision.
