Yeah I got this little 23hp or so Ford tractor and front end loader with hooks that I welded on. Me and Mr tractor lift my riding mower, if it ain’t in the shop to pull and sharpen the blade. Then me and him take the garden under siege and plant corn, peas, beans, and what ever else mama wants. I go in to my hardware store that I know like I own it and run in and out. I like my neighbors but we just wave across our pastures and gardens. That’s normal. If they need help they call. The only lockdown I’ve noticed the most is the church’s not active on Sunday’s. I’m not much for organized religion but I like the neighbors enjoying their weekends. Idaho is country, we farm, fornicate, raise kids, and try to be Christian to everyone. God’s country covers lots of ground. I got family spread everywhere and say a prayer for all. I don’t need a visit I’ll just say a prayer and be there when help is needed.

Here’s another ‘maybe it’s just me’ personality quirk: I know we all like sunny days, but you ever just as much enjoy a cold, gray, drizzly evening, with a fire going, your wife off cuddled up in a quilt in another room, the family pets snoozing hither and yon (even in your lap)? You know, Hounds of the Baskervilles weather, and you just wanna binge on old movies like that before you go to bed? That pre-Thanksgiving/Post-Christmas window when everything is damp, foggy, and gray, like the English moors?
