Well, since the parents aren't going to have a job, they need something to keep themselves busy

Showing mom and dad the crap their kids were being taught perhaps was counter productive to the resistance crowd.

Most of my grand kids are home schooled - but my one daughter, who was going the public route, is now going to home school. Their son is in private Christian kindergarten - he can already read, so they don’t want to hold him back.

Yep. It is an unintended consequence of the big RAT plandemic. Now, the communists are wringing their hands over it. They’ll try to legislate it to be illegal to do so....wait and see.

Homeschooling is a parallel to home birth.

Those that oppose this idea argue with cliche arguments that are not based on facts, figures and results.

Homeschooling brings better results for the kids in both quality of education (evidenced in SAT/ACT as well as standardised testing), as well as physical (less illnesses) and emotional health (generally lower obesity and suicide rates).

Modern public full day education is assembly line education (cohort not ability based), caters to the lowest common denominator, and is designed for a dual income family where kids are stored in a secular and safe place while the parents pursue their careers. It’s Henry Ford meets Gloria Steinem. Education is not the purpose of public education. Like everything else in this country where we claim to be the best in the world, we have created the world’s most expensive public education system that performs sub-par when compared with other western industrialized nations. But we do have the most impressive football stadiums and the newest and most expensive electronics!

Well, their local property and school taxes will go up regardless, even if everyone decided to homeschool their children and the schools were empty.

Many homeschooled children are fluid in their attendance at a brick school, home school, and on line home school.

I know various homeschool kids who attended MIT, Notre Dame, Duke, Cal Poly, and other top universities.

Even the best public schools are incredible wastes of time. Take out all the nonsense coursework, travel, time wasted by teachers, gym, discipline problems - and real learning time probably amounts to 1 hour of a 7 hour day.

The kids I mentioned above had time to learn calculus and AP Physics in small groups, and also spend their time skiing during the day.

It’s bad. Yes “distance learning” showed me not only how left wing their “instruction” is (everything is about racism), but also how all the questions and all the answers on assignments are lifted straight off the internet. The teachers can be lazy and the students can be lazy too.

I live in a very blue county in a very blue state and plans like masks and eating in classrooms and turning public high schools into prisons. . .I sent in an application to a small private conservative local Christian school two weeks ago for my daughter for the fall.

(Do you live in Israel? I visited there last fall—had a great trip; loved every minute of it.)

Well, that backfired! Ha! I love it. Can you imagine how fantastic this would be to literally halve the number of kids in the public school system? NO ONE I know said they would send their kids to school (public, private, or charter school) if they are required to wear face masks and deal with the ridiculous measures currently recommended.

Fellow parents, I want to encourage you: YOU CAN DO THIS! It is hard, it is a sacrifice, but honestly a lot of fun, and so worth it. Let’s raise up the next generation of kids to be hard-workers, critical thinkers, passionate about freedom, and lovers of God and others.

Studies have shown that regardless of educational background and finances, homeschool kids STILL outperform public school kids.

A little humor:

It takes a village to raise a child.

It takes a distillery to home school a child.

Parents are being forced to homeschool their kids anywsys. They are realizing that even they can teach liberal indoctrination. They realize how weak the school systems are and know now they can fo a better job. At least the conservative-leaning ones...

No longer in Israel unfortunately. I lived there for ten years but could not renew my visa as I am an American, not Jewish. I loved Israel, but it is a tough place to live.

The stress of the intifada was getting to me, it was time to come home anyway.

I learned to love the jews, and hate Islam there. Islam is killing not only Jews, but is killing the souls of the Arabs.

It should be instant deportation here. We have enough psychos.

If every government school were to instantly disappear, the same children getting an education today would get one tomorrow. Why?

Answer:
Every academically successful child I have met has been homeschooled. Yes.That's a bold statement. This is true even when the child has been institutionalized for his schooling.

Why?

Answer: All academically successful children are either homeschooled or **AFTER-schooled by their concerned parents.

The institutionalized child's parents have and are doing everything IN THE **home** that successful homeschoolers do in their **homes**.

This is true even for those immigrants who have academically successful children. They have enroll the help of friends, relatives, and study groups to **AFTER-school** their children.

Capitals for emphasis only. I am not shouting. But...Perhaps, I should be.
