This is going to open up a whole can of worms of litigation.

President Trump needs to make a statement on this SCOTUS Decision.

Hard to spin this as anything other than a disastrous ruling. Conservatives have to a large extent written off Roberts, but Gorsuch’s betrayal is particularly demoralizing. We need social conservatives to turn out in droves in November, and the judicial argument is key to take part of the base. When Trump’s own appointee pulls this kind of crap on us, it hurts the cause.

have heard an argument that Roberts joined the majority in order to retain the right to assign the opinion. If Roberts had joined the other three in the losing dissent, Justice Ginsburg would have written the majority opinion, which would have looked different from what Gorsuch wrote.
Yeah, and I heard that Burger did the same thing in Roe v. Wade, knowing Blackmun would write a poorly thought out decision, which he did. 47 years later, it makes little difference.
Maybe a judge should look at the Constitution, look at the law, and decide what the lawmakers in 1964 were thinking. Few of them were thinking of what was declared Law today.

So, is Hooters immune to hiring suits when they specify they are looking for healthy, attractive, friendly, well-endowed waitresses... or does it have to hire every weirdo who asks for a job?

During the days of the Cold War, did it ever occur to you that you would live to see the day that traditional American and Christian values would be honored more in Russia than in the USA?

Did they deign to leave any protections for religious institutions?

Roberts and Gorsuch are a total and complete disgrace. They both have betrayed their oaths to the Constitution and our country.
They should be impeached.

How can I expect that Pro-life Justices come from SCOTUS picks by Trump?

Reliance on the Supreme Court is a fool’s game. It will always on net promote the Total State and destruction of the society. Accepting the once novel and nowhere-in-the-Constitution proposition that the USSC is the final arbiter of what is and is not Constitutional was the poison pill swallowed by the nation two centuries ago.

Reading this it seems that the decision is worded to apply to secular institutions and not religious ones.
