He explains the situation very succinctly. Thanks for sharing, it makes it easy to explain to my lib friends that are starting to WAKE UP. I’ve bookmarked it and await his next post.

This is “news” to who? Everyone I know with a pulse understands exactly what MSM polls are used for.
They are attempts to manipulate voters. Plain and simple. And, the methodology they use to get the results they desire to report on are known anyone paying even a little attention.

...not to mention all of us that would lie to a pollster.

With Biden in the mix, I ignore the polls.

Independents are targeted

What is the evidence that they are "targeted"? It's not in the poll's methodology: "A total of 1,259 adults, including an oversample of 250 black, non-Hispanic adults, were interviewed by telephone nationwide by live interviewers calling both landline and cell phones. Oversampled black, non-Hispanic respondents have been weighted to represent their proper share of the adult population. Interviews were conducted in English and Spanish. Among the entire sample, 32% described themselves as Democrats, 25% described themselves as Republicans, and 44% described themselves as independents or members of another party." - http://cdn.cnn.com/cnn/2020/images/06/08/rel6a.-.race.and.2020.pdf

There is another factor that polesters do not include in ther sample. It is why Trump won in 2016. All the samples are made up of voter based on what they think is the most accurate representation of registered voters. They do not factor in possible electoral votes that are won based on each state won. In 2019 Clintion had the most popular vote but Trump won states with the most electorial votes.
