Understood. I would want him to have his gun loaded and would have taken that chance. I know it's probably foolish, but wouldn't want to shoot him with the gun unloaded.
500 yards is my 300 Win Mag. It will do that distance but is capable of longer distance but the optics would then cost more than the rifle. My land is only 300 yards long. Up close, as in 200 yards is my AR 15. In my home is a Glock 35 as my main defense weapon inside my home. Tactile light, and laser and day glow sights.
I have never raised a firearm in anger and wish not to do so. Invade my most peaceful land and threaten me I will use my not small skills to kill you if it is legal. I have been shooting since a small boy
