It is interesting to ponder the reasons. Is it:
A) They are perturbed by the defund the police movement and are saying "F You" to politicians?
B) They fear some ANTIFA or BLM people are not going to wear masks, get in confrontations with officers, and provoke them to the point of dangerous escalation?
C) They don't want to harass law-abiding citizens who are out trying to have some fun and spend some money to keep the economy going at the same time officers are not allowed to arrest rioters?
D) They have gotten wind of some things coming down the pike that are going to make governors and mayors enacting closures and mask mandates look really, really bad?
All of the above.

These A$$wipe Democrats threaten to defend their police departments and Sheriff’s departments, and then want them to enforce their unconstitutional actions!
There are virtually no documented cases of outdoor SARS-CoV-2 transmission. One study found one case out of something like 5,000 transmissions studied (might have been 3,000 might have been 7,000, don’t recall exactly right now) where transmission actually happened outdoors. This thing does not do well in sunlight or outdoor air that moves well.
Closing down every beach in the country probably prevents like 5 transmissions a month. It doesn’t make any sense and it doesn’t follow the science.
While beaches are closed, there is still protesting and riots.
I’d suggest having a mostly peaceful protest at the beach, protesting Marxism, BLM and Antifah. I’d include riotus bbq’s, burgers, dogs and chips.
The protest ought to be solemnized with Pomp and Parade, with Shews, Games, Sports, Guns, Bells, Bonfires and Illuminations from one End of the beach to the other.
