They don’t superficially believe but they feel it. China has not changed much in 3000 years. With new archaeological discoveries maybe 5000 years. Xi is not much different from previous emperors and China’s system is not much different either. The Communists are just another Dynasty and subject to the same vicissitudes as previous dynasties. They don’t use the same terminology but they feel it when History is showing signs of not being on their side.
Let’s just hope there’s no secret agreememt among global leaders to give all their populations a 30% haircut!

A few more Trump-made monsoon thunderstorms (he controls the weather, don’t ya know) and the back pressure will be amazing.
