If you want something fun to plink with or annoy the occasional pest, hop on the amazon and search for ‘umarex legends’. They have models of several classics like the 1911, Luger, Mauser, ppk, etc. All for $100 or less.
I bought the Mauser, because while it looks cool, I’m not spending $2000 for a safe queen.

I have the cheaper Umarex ‘Combat Zone Enforcer’ for under $30. Tree rats don’t like them when they are on my bird feeder.
