I’ve given up regarding free sites. Fortunately, most of the forums I use allow me to simply use the windows snipping tool to copy a part of my screen and paste it in a thread.

Try maga.host for one picture at a time; you can set up an album but I’ve never tried it.

You might want to try smugmug.
That’s what a lot of professional photographers use.
It’s not free, but I think there’s some free functionality and/or a free trial.
You can create albums with a private link like you suggest, or have a password.
If you do use it, make sure to set up an album profile with all the settings you like and save it and apply it to every new album. There’s some annoying things (like a shopping cart) that will pop up otherwise.

” Recently I uploaded photos some of which I rotated 90 degrees on my computer. “
Did you rotate the photo or merely change the orientation tag?

professional album? You can create things over on Redbubble.com, and order things like calendars, mugs, pillows, prints, posters- many many things- fairly reasonably priced-
If you just want ot host photos on a site- then send folks a link, 500px.com is good- flickr.com is ok-

Google photos does exactly this. Every picture I take is automatically baked up. I can share one pic or a multi meg album with one or many.
