That last link shows what a motley set of assorted nuts - left wing and right wing - is out there militating against the current world order (NWO?). Of course, at its heart is the Kremlin and the old KGB under Putin manipulating everything and everyone to its own interests.
But that’s the interesting thing - supposedly, Moscow’s biggest objective is to not have a unipolar world with the US at its apex. It claims to want a multi-polar world, with itself as one of the major players. Based on those ***stated*** objectives, I can’t really be opposed. The US on top of a NWO would be no less dangerous, no less dictatorial, than any other nation. Our Deep State has been aiming for just such a world for many decades now, and while it sounds appealing to the average, patriotic American to have us be “#1,” that average patriot (including many here - and including myself until not so many years ago) have no clue what that really means. It assuredly does not mean a harmless, first-among-equals, American leadership like many envisioned in the immediate post-WW2 era - it is something far more sinister than that, especially when one understands how utterly controlling a government can be with modern facial-recognition technology, tracking software in EVERYTHING we touch, phones that listen to us even when they are “off,” financial transactions relegated almost entirely to the (easily closed down) electronic form, etc., etc. Perhaps a multi-polar world wouldn’t be so bad - and that, in fact, is what Trump seems to be all about when it comes to foreign policy.
That so many kooks - again, Left and Right - are on board with that particular viewpoint does not necessarily make that view a bad thing; even a stopped clock is right twice a day. They all want it for their own reasons, of course, and I am under no illusion that just about any of these groups are full of decent people - quite the opposite is actually true. But that doesn’t necessarily make them, or the Russians, wrong in wanting to avoid a unipolar world. IMNO, if the unipolar power was the UK, or Germany, or the Arabs or the Chinese, the Russians would oppose it for exactly the same set of reasons - mainly, not wanting to be subservient to that power. I really cannot find fault there - I wouldn’t want the US to be subservient to any other nation, either.
Recently, however, Grayzone devoted to the job of smearing me a very long piece written by Ben Norton....Since Ben Norton too may be mistaken for a genuine left-wing reporter, I decided to make an exception this time and take the trouble to show how the Grayzone piece fully belongs to the Stalinist school of falsification. This is for the sake of any reader who may have come across that scurrilous piece and believed in good faith that it was motivated by left-wing values. The lies in the Grayzone piece start blatantly from the onset, in the worst sensationalist tradition...
