16 Sept: Russia Today: ‘So it’s verboten?’: Fox News panelist STOPS Newt Gingrich from discussing ‘Soros-elected’ district attorneys
A Fox News host and a former CIA spokesperson ganged up on former House speaker and Republican pundit Newt Gingrich when he brought up the undisputed fact that George Soros funded candidates for prosecutors in riot-struck cities.
“The number one problem in almost all the cities is George Soros-elected, left-wing, anti-police, pro-criminal district attorneys who refuse to keep people locked up,” Gingrich told the hosts of ‘Outnumbered’ on Wednesday.

“Both [Kamala] Harris and [Joe] Biden have talked very proudly about what they call progressive district attorneys,” he continued. “Progressive district attorneys are anti-police, pro-criminal, and overwhelmingly elected with George Soros’ money. They are a major cause of the violence we are seeing because they keep putting the violent criminals back on the street.”...

He was cut off by panelist Melissa Francis – who hosts her own show on Fox Business – saying “I’m not sure we need to bring George Soros into this.” Fellow panelist Marie Harf – who was a spokeswoman for the CIA and the State Department during the Obama administration – joined in, arguing that “George Soros doesn’t need to be part of this conversation.”
“Okay, so it’s verboten?” Gingrich said, incredulous. After a long moment of awkward silence, host Harris Faulkner simply said “Okay, we’re going to move on.”...

This is not the first time (Gingrich) has brought up Soros in a Fox News appearance. In early August, he told ‘Fox and Friends’ that Democrats are “owned by people who are financed by George Soros.”
While that may have been hyperbole, in this particular instance he was literally correct. Between 2014 and 2018, Soros had spent more than $16 million on 17 district attorney races across the US, with his candidates winning 13 of them. In 2018 alone, Soros spent more than $2.7 million on district attorney races in California, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Mainstream US media outlets openly reported that at the time, presenting the spending spree as a noble effort by the Hungarian-born Democrat mega-donor to “reform” the US justice system from the ground up...

Nor has Soros’s influence been limited to major cities. His funding was decisive in the election of Diana Becton as the DA in California’s Contra Costa County – just east of the San Francisco Bay Area – despite a plagiarism scandal. Becton became famous for pressing hate crimes charges against a couple that painted over the Black Lives Matter street mural during this year’s Independence Day weekend.
Mentioning any of that is now apparently off-limits on Fox News, however.

Harris is a weak sister and always has been. Harf is a leftist pig and liar. Always has been. Surprised that Francis went into “stupid” mood because she is good on business, but out of her league on national security matters, as is Faulkner.

The link to the article is a “404”. Has anyone found how to get to the link site?
