Odd. It worked on my VPN. But the content seems a bit hokey.
Its been >20 years for me.
Thanks so much to the alternative linkers. BTTT!
(haven’t paid attention to Fedoraboy in years. Nice try doorMatt)
Why is Freerepublic still linked at Drudge??
Among with sites already linked in this thread. I’ll add
https://63red.com/news
https://bonginoreport.com/
https://deepclips.com/
https://www.sott.net/
After I check Freerepublic first, of course.
well, I think my site is better, no obnoxious ads, in fact, no ads at all. and rather than a shameless insertion of my domain, I will let you figure out what domain that might be.
Whatfinger, similar to Liberty Daily, tends to editorialize too much vs just reporting. One example from Liberty D.
They like to call the Corona Masks ‘Face Diapers”. Silly and needlessly insulting to those with compromised immune systems who do chose to wear the masks. Not every person who wears a mask is a lobotomized, drooling Sheep. Whatfinger tend to be too busy with pop ups and annoying Gifs. Maybe that’s changed.
I heard some recent recommendations for the site called
“Revolver News”. I was somewhat unimpressed, mainly due to their format of presenting stories in one long, center paged column. In order to see most of the articles, you have to keep on scrolling down, down, further down.
One thing I liked about Drudge and more recently, Citizen Free Press, is that you can view a large cluster of article choices at once, then decide where to click.
Citizen Free Press is pretty good, the least hysterical and one of the most professional of the newer conservative websites.
REAL conservatives rarely read the Drudge report that much in the first place. ; )
Same
Leni
NEVER go to Drudge. Go to Bongino Report.
Amen...really appreciate the content but Whatfinger is impossible to read...way too busy, too much content for an aggregate news site, and an exhausting layout with type colors shifting constantly for no reason...they should spend a couple of hundred dollars with an art director simplifying and unifying the page...if they want humor and videos, fine. Put them as an alternative with a button on the bottom. The secret to Drudge was its ease of use and uncluttered page design, which for all practical purposes was NO design...sorta like the Kiplinger Report which owed its success to good content presented briefly and easily read. Drudge probably copied it...suggest Whatfinger copy Drudge is they want readership.
I like Whatfinger but it’s too hard to navigate, too busy.
Needs to be simplified like Drudge is.
Ping, little buddy.
Conservatives still go there? It’s long been no different from any other rag or tabloid on the netty tubes.
Shoot I gave up Drudge decades ago when every damn thing had the emergency light gif at the top. You can only have so many emergencies before emergencies same passe.
Dropped drudge when he sold it.
Real conservatives know DRUDGE dont own it anymore .. And Joe dont tweet.
