I loved the way that he rewrote this horrific story. A masterful job and truly a modern Hollywood fairy tale.
He did similar, with Inglorious B*sturds.....the theatre scene.
Indeed he did. It’s hard for me to decide which one I like more between those two. They are likely tied for second. Pulp Fiction is my all time fave because of the writing. It’s the best dialogue beginning to end of any movie ever, IMHO.
I jokingly refer to Bastards as a propaganda movie about a propaganda movie.
While Goebbels was presenting his Aryan idealism to Germany they were dealt a crushing blow we have only dreamed of. Shoshana’s face laughing at them while projected on the dancing flames was cinematic beauty.
