Very true. It doesn’t make any difference how many real votes Trump gets Biden will always get more. These are people who defied federal court orders for days. You are already hearing the calls from GOPe’s to move on. They had a chance to build a new Roosevelt coalition of working people that could have made them the dominant force in American politics for years, and they’ll piss it away because they don’t like us either. The status quo will be reestablished quickly now and it will be back to business as usual. Have you heard one republican stand up and speak out about the obvious fraud? No. The GOPe is no less happy about this than the democrats.
We are already hearing calls from the media to come together and unify the country behind president elect Har... um I mean Biden. There will be polls by tomorrow showing that the American people overwhelmingly want Trump to concede graciously so we can end the divisiveness and rancor of the last four years.
It’s over, and even if the president could win in the courts the country is toast. We are divided at our core between the doers and the takers, and the takers control the centers of power and influence. I’m an old guy so it may not affect me much, but younger people are probably going to soon be faced with the decision of submission or secession. Neither of which will be pretty. I’m very saddened by the fact that the American experiment is over. I think it was John Adams who said we had been given a constitution that only worked for a moral and religious people. He was right. Ronald Reagan said our freedom is never more than one generation from extinction. He’s been proven right. It was great while it lasted.
