I’ve been intensely interested in this period of history. I did not know until fairly recently of Washington’s role at the start of the French and Indian War.

He practically caused the French and Indian war. One of the indians in his party known as Half King, killed Joseph Jumonville of the French, and that pretty much kicked things off.
