A contingent of the legislature cannot speak for the state which has been named as a defendant.
I wish Oregon would too, but traitorous demonrats have ruled Oregon for 30 years due to scam mail in voting here. I KNOW Trump won Oregon, but they y give 2 ballots to demonrats here and the rest of us get
ours shredded. You have to sign the outside envelope, they look up your party registration on a list and the rest is history. lol

Here, let me explain it to you.
These legislators in Pennsylvania are suing their own state for having stolen what is theirs. It is the right and obligation of the Penn State legislature to set and enact rules for elections in the state. It is NOT up to the Executive or Judicial part of their state to make those rules.
When PA changed the voting laws, it was done ILLEGALLY by the Gov/Judiciary. So too in Wisconsin, Arizona, Georgia and Michigan...at least.
Texas suit is about that, and PA legislature has joined...in going after their own state for stealing away their job.
The PA legislature does not need the Supreme Court to give them permission for relief. They already have the constitutional authority to select the electors themselves. This makes them look dysfunctional.

But the litigants do have standing. It was their laws that were ignored.

Most of these swing state legislatures are scared of the pushback from the media, democrats and especially from Antifa, BLM violence crowd if they stand up and say no to fraud and corruption in the voting system

Is this true. What does this mean. Lol. Are the legislatures growing a set. Now that they see the ground swell and know the truth. Can they go along with the hopes the SCOTUS kicks the power to them (which the could have had in the first place). The more the merrier and when states that are being sued (or whatever you call it) are getting involved it should make the SCOTUS more likely to hear it. I am happy and confused. Not sure if this is a case of everyone waiting on someone to do something and then joining in. Like courage is contagious.
Michigan is on the latest list of 28 states - also includes AZ, CA, CO, GA, PA, MN, IN, TN, OH, NC, VA, ND, SD, SC, MS, LA, AR, AL, ID - stay tuned I’m sure many more to follow soon.
