The State legislature is filing with Texas against the Governor.
Clarification: I’m not sure if it is an amicus brief or joining as a litigant. I didn’t go to law school so I’m mostly ignorant about the details.
Michigan, now the Great Fake State, should do the same thing.
>>> The State legislature is filing with Texas against the Governor.
The State Legislature could have EASILY kept itself from getting taken to the Supreme court in the first place!!!
Not sure how they re-gain face with this move at all.
They are only going to be FORCED by SCOTUS to do the very thing they were originally NOT WILLING to do!
(speaking of course about the majority... not the brave few who held hearings)
Both Houses of PA legislature will vote to join the suit?
Why not just vote their own electors?
That’s how you know it’s BS.
Intervene (join) or amicus?
All kinds of ways to skin a wolf
Well that somewhat precludes SCOTUS declaring that the legislatures didn't act to stop the election rule changing so therfore they implicitly endorsed them. If the legislature is joining a suit alleging that their rights / duties were usurped how can it be argued that they were on board with it?
