I saw a really good comment. What if the other states were preventing blacks from voting? What would have SCOTUS done then - say it’s none of TX business?
That answer would be the same except Kagan, Sotomayor, and Breyer might be willing to hear oral arguments but the rest would still say Texas has no standing.
