One weakness of The President was that he placed too much trust in Generals. The problem with Generals is that they become despots of their realms and are never questioned, so when it comes to following orders, they chafe.
And I'm not a Conservative purist, I'm not excommunicating anybody because I disagree with them on a few things, (everyone at Fox is not Chris Wallace).
Carlson is right on a lot of things, and spot-on in this monologue.
