Your comment reminds me of an event from about 30 years ago. I was in the Marine Corps and a Congressional committee came around to "evaluate" how women were doing. Most of the committee were made up of Congressional Staffers that had no idea about the Marine Corps nor the irreverence of enlisted personnel. One female Congressional Staffer was talking about the equality of women and she told a Marine Corporal that it takes two to make a baby. Without blinking an eye the corporal said, "Yeah, but nine months later only one of them shows up for work." Even some of the staffers laughed. But the Female staffer got madder than a wet hen.

When I was in the Corps (1951 to 1957), the only women issues in the Corps was when one of them heard you refer to them as a BAM...
They were tough as nails, but smart enough to understand their role...
The Corps has been descending into this crap for a couple of decades...
