Interesting article. May I ask if you are related to the 1945 site or the author? The reason I ask is when I see an article like this I would like to see the references used by the authors to research the presented article. If you are related to the site or authors I would just make that suggestion.

Fun fact the German Fritz X bombs wreaked havoc with more than the Italians. One bomb essentially ended HMS Warspite’s fighting career.
