I told them that it hollowed out American workers in IT, and was now beginning to hollow out middle management, and that if it follows its natural progression the executive suite wasn't safe.

Let me introduce you to Satya Narayana Nadella. He is the foreign born Indian-American CEO of Microsoft who seems to be content in attacking and attempting to subjugate native born, cultural Americans. He became the CEO of Microsoft when he replaced the idiotic Steve Ballmer in 2014.

Once these firms censored content for political reasons, they were guilty of illegal political contributions. They also crossed the line from being interactive computer services to content providers and as content providers they are not exempt from liability under 47 U.S. Code § 230.
