Personally I think Trump has decided not to run again, but to keep his influence he has to position it as a good possibility.
He should run for the house seat where he lives, win, and get elected speaker of the house
It would be nice seeing President Trump running the Nation’s agenda. It would be interesting to watch. And he might actually get stuff done, unlike Nancy.
President Speaker Trump has a nice right to it
As it turns out, just like the Pope doesn’t have to be a Cardinal or even a priest, the Speaker of the House - apparently - doesn’t have to be a member of Congress.
They could, in theory, elect Trump as Speaker even if he doesn’t run for Congress.
That won’t happen, of course. I’m doubtful that even if Trump made made into Congress post-presidency (like John Quincy Adams did), that there are enough actual conservatives in the House to elect him.
I think the family business CEO and former president would be frustrated beyond imagination dealing with those jackals!
