The family of the shooting victim (a teen, who died) is suing the pd and city essentially for negligence. And in Federal Court as they know the state and county courts are farrrrrr left and will toss the suit out
The police have no Constitutional duty to protect anyone, or to come to their aid. SCOTUS has routinely upheld this.
