How many are worn correctly and are re-used without cleaning?
• A peer-reviewed study done by Stanford University concludes that the existing scientific evidences challenge the safety and efficacy of wearing facemask as preventive intervention for COVID-19. The current data suggest that both medical and non-medical facemasks are ineffective to block human-to-human transmission of viral and infectious disease such SARS-CoV-2 and COVID-19, supporting against the usage of facemasks (Med Hypotheses. 2021;146:110411 https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7680614/).
Not surprised... I read the study when it first came out. I didn’t pass it along to anyone. It sounded bogus to me and a couple of their references that I looked at concluded things exactly the opposite of what they claimed.
There has been a TON of real CRAP science published in the past year. It’s exhausting trying to make sense of it all.
