Only if COVID-19 is listed as the underlying cause of death. The doctor filling out the US Standard Certificate of Death determines what the sequence of events was that led to the person’s death. The sequence must flow logically.
You’re funny! Do you live on some planet where all doctors are completely honest and would NEVER yield to pressure to do what’s politically or financially expedient; OR what the government, via hospital administrators, demands? (Note -— I was a practicing R.N. for 25 years, and worked with some very fine doctors, most of whom were very good people who really cared about their patients, and some of whom were brilliant.) But human nature and good old statistical probability tells me that there are those out there who will do what they’re told, if the government is breathing down their necks. (q.v., current pain medication government “guidelines”, for example; my own doctor has told me that the government threatens to close down practices and take away the licenses of doctors who do not abide by those pain medication guidelines).
