When was the AF running on treadmills?

In the late 90’s. In fact, the Military Times reported on this quite extensively. They reported on this as though this was the Wave of the Future.
The AF has been on the Bleeding Edge of the Pussification of the US Military for quite some time now.
This latest report of “choose what you want” is but the latest example of this fact. The next step will be to “choose” not to partake in any PT testing at all.

When was the AF running on treadmills?

I was in the Navy but was stationed at a Air Force base in the 90's and they used stationary bikes back then.

I don’t think treadmills had been invented yet, when I was in, 67 to 87.
