“The problem will be compounded because many government employees are slow readers.”

LOL! As an ex-Fed and Ex-State worker, I’ve seen that, first hand!

Putin Asks Reporter If USA, 'Assassinated' Ashli Babbitt!’

Townhall.com ^ | June 15, 2021 | Leah Barkoukis

During an interview with NBC News, Putin said Russia was no worse than the United States in this regard, and used the government's handling of the Jan. 6 Capitol riot as an example.

Putin showed flashes of defiance when he was asked whether it was a "coincidence" that several other political rivals had been assassinated in recent years.

"We don't have this kind of habit, of assassinating anybody," Putin said when he was asked whether he ordered Navalny killed. (NBC News)

He then countered by asking whether the U.S. was guilty of assassinating Ashli Babbitt during the Capitol riot.

"Secondly, I want to ask you: Did you order the assassination of the woman who walked into the Congress and who was shot and killed by a policeman?” Putin said. “Do you know that 450 individuals were arrested after entering Congress? And they didn’t go there to steal a laptop. They came with political demands. 450 people have been detained. They’re facing jail time, from 15 to 20 years. And they came to Congress with political demands. Isn’t that persecution for political opinions?"

Federal prosecutor Mona Sedky is calling for harsh punishment for January 6 defendants because of “the need to preserve respect for the law.”

And she said this with a straight face?! After last summer?! After the 2020 fraud... I mean, election?!

The Jan 6 Hearings are intended by Democrats and like minded Republicans to cast political opposition as domestic terrorists and set the stage to use the entire suite of anti terror laws against the American people who oppose the very unpopular and destructive agenda they wish to impose on America. This agenda is so counter to American norms and the Constitution itself, they are contemplating use of force and coercion in addition tot he intimidation measures they are already using in their War from Above on the American people.

This agenda follows the one that has been used by the EU to bring it's member states to their knees and destroy the quality of life for the people of the EU

"The feds are sorting through “237,000 digital tips, 1 million Parler videos and images comprising 40 terabytes of data scraped from the Internet — roughly equivalent to 10 million photos, 20,000 hours of video, or 50,000 filing cabinets of paper documents,”

THIS

is what I saw with that statement ;

The next GOP president is going to pardon or commute most of the sentences, with many of the defendants getting a large payday curtosey of the US taxpayer.

..... If judges conclude that the Justice Department is unreasonably keeping January 6 defendants locked up (often in solitary confinement) too long, judicial edicts could unravel prosecutors’ long-term plans.....

Come on, judges! Step up to the plate for justice!!!! Order the immediate release of ALL Jan. 6 political prisoners!!!!

We are the USA—NOT the old Soviet Union or the current communist China! It’s high time to act like the USA—in defiance of the commie biden cabal!!!!

One wonders what these "long-term plans" are. Do they have some scheme that goes beyond simply prosecuting these cases? Are they trying to lay the groundwork for some new approach to free speech and freedom of assembly cases, something that would allow prior restraint of unfavored speech? Or just what?

[[“The investigation and prosecution of the Capitol Breach will be the largest in American history, both in terms of the number of defendants prosecuted and the nature and volume of the evidence.” The feds are sorting through “237,000 digital tips, 1 million Parler videos and images comprising 40 terabytes of data scraped from the Internet — roughly equivalent to 10 million photos, 20,000 hours of video, or 50,000 filing cabinets of paper documents,” theWashington Post reported. Investigators are also sorting through “cell tower data for thousands of electronic devices that connected to the Capitol’s interior distributed antenna system,”]]

All this because some Trump supporters peacefully wanted to have their voices heard bythose who represent out country.

Have the fbi put this much effort into arresting and prosecuti g the actual do estic terrorists antifa and blm?

I just went back and reviewed the article in Revolver News about Stewart Rhodes, the purported leader of the Oath Keepers, some of whose members have been charged with various crimes on January 6th.

The interesting thing is that Rhodes himself has NOT been charged despite him openly talking of "insurrection" and claiming that he had heavily armed supporters stationed at key places in and around DC, just waiting for the command from Trump to go into action.

Revolver News suggests that Rhodes has not been charged because he was an FBI informant or agitator whose rhetoric was intended to provoke the more unstable members of his group into some sort of illegal and violent actions, just the sort of actions that would be used to support the "insurrection" narrative. Any serious investigation of January 6th would include an examination of this man, but his role will no doubt be entirely ignored.

Funny, the let can arm themselves, violently take over e r city blocks and then squares, and ‘occupy Wallstreet committing zl. Kinds of crimes, and the left call it ‘mostly peaceful and a ‘summer of love’ while blm burns loots murders, destroys, and assaults others, but when Trump supporters peacefully gather At the Capitol, then get personal,y ushered into the building by Capitol police and 5he vast majority of them do nothing worse than yell, the left fall all to pieces and scream about it being the worst thing ever.

Where are the gop? Why aren’t they screaming at the top of their lungs about this illegal political persedution?

Though Hodgkins pled guilty only to one count of obstructing an official proceeding, Biden’s Justice Department demanded a lengthy prison sentence for Hodgkins to “deter…domestic terrorism.” This is akin to prosecutors seeking harsh punishment for a confessed jaywalker because his negligent behavior could have caused a school bus to crash.

True. And they also made sure they found someone who was willing to include lots of remorse, so the others would take the hint and see that as a way to an easier sentence. This is important to the prosecution because it's excellent PR for their side: See? They are very sorry. Therefore it was very wrong.
