The top universities have been swept away by the currents of academic freedom to a distant shore where academic competence is extinct.

Seems if a university is run by a state, the state can make rules. Is there anything in the constitution about academic freedom?
Indoctrinating students with “pernicious ideologies” is obviously a bad idea to those that oppose those ideologies.
