I am certainly biased in my perceptions — but this afternoon when I watched the speech and the following coverage, I was struck by something. I am, of course, heavily paraphrasing, but the 15-20 minutes of coverage after the speech seemed (to me) to go through this cycle:
1) That was appalling. That was tone deaf. That missed the mark.
2) It could have been better. He said he was taking responsibility, but he did blame others. It seemed like he didn’t quite get it.
3) Pretty good speech. He did what he needed to do. Difficult situation, but 4 presidents have been involved, so we can’t expect too much.
4) Good speech. Hit all the right points. We needed to be out. Joe got us out. Things are going well.
And now we’re here:
5) Everyone agrees with Joe, he should be on Mr Rushmore. What a guy!
You can just watch the propaganda organs churn out their product in real time. It’s hard to do right off the bat, but the boys in the back room keep working, and fine-tuning their presentation, and Joe just looks better, and better, and better.

Not sure about the 95% but it is high. Don’t live in a bubble, challenge the ignorant, try and educate because most people could care less about “politics” (But think they are an expert in current events because they read/listen to 5 minutes or so of news)
So what is this I hear biden actually put two sentences together and people actually understood him? Are you sure this happened?

Nicolle Wallace is completely off her rocker. Some would say I am slightly biased. (You can laugh at the slightly part.) However, I fully expect that Biden’s approval will bottom out in the low 40’s and Trump’s approval is capped at around 52 to 54%. There is no way 95% of Americans agreed with Biden’s speech.
