Add to that that I have high blood pressure, cardio vascular disease, I’m obese and over 60. So I was lead to believe covid is a death sentence me. The flu does not live up to the hype. It also swept through over a half dozen of my immediate family at this same time. Everyone survived it. Also note that our doctors and every healthcare person I have been in contact with would not give us the time of day other then to say go home until you are bad enough to go to the emergency room. It’s almost like they want people to get as sick as possible, then load up the hospitals.
Over 60 is a fairly arbitrary number. Don’t hold me to this exact number but I believe the median age of covid related death is around 78. That happens to be the median age of all cause mortality in the USA too. Give or take 1 or 2 years I believe I am correct.
I do think obesity and more specifically diabetes is a major factor. But age is also, imo, a major factor. Nothing is exclusive of course.
