The last public execution in Florida, a hanging on the courthouse lawn, was here in my county, Okaloosa, sometime in the 19-teens, IIRC.
Newspaper accounts of the time said it was like a carnival atmosphere. People brought their children and had picnics. Food vendors were doing a brisk business. People came from a hundred miles or more to watch something that only took a few minutes.......................

You are exactly on target. The overall effect of the ever-worsening news since the election theft has given me a cognitive disorder where I often feel I'm trapped in a nightmare - if I could just wake up I'd find the relatively sane nation back. But Higher Power cheers me after a little caffeine with the knowledge we rightful citizens (who've contributed far more than the thankless spawn who's cup will forever half empty) EARNED our right to BE and most of us have a little something for ANY entity, official or not, in our face wrongly.
Please keep the Leftist regime's political prisoners in your prayers and in everyday talk. Can you believe these opportunists comparing these un-armed invited-in rubberneckers donned in flags and cammo with an insurrection? To be clear I’m saying the resident of the United States is in danger from his own “people” (not me nor anyone I know) who are using him until he’s a total patsy for their horrible schemes - like right now. If he’s lucky he’ll be put out to pasture, but I don’t think they’ll let him knowing what he does keep in mind.
