Only when the propaganda department catches them and brings them there. Normally that bird would have been called “dinner” a while ago!

No, the top leadership gets bullets to the back of the head first thing. Xi doesn’t even see it coming. He gets pulled aside and pop.

One of the downsides to declaring yourself President-For-Life is the only way out is in a casket. At least Khrushchev was given a relatively comfortable (but obscure) retirement after they got rid of him.

He's been put out in the barnyard, the special one, where they practice dung shui.

Re: Peking duck:
had it Twice. First time in the 90s at a really nice place in Monterey Park CA, a Mecca of good Chinese food. The first course was a piece of crispy duck skin, served on a little kind of doughy flat bread, like a little taco. Yummy. Then the rest was brought out. Don’t remember anything else except it was very tasty and served a bit ceremoniously, like this was a special meal. It was.
Second time was when our local Chinese place made a mistake on our takeout order and gifted us with one! Not as good as Monterey Park , but a lucky event anyway.

The skin is very crisp and tasty. The meat is ok. Traditionally server as a “Chinese Taco” in a pancake. It is a massive PITA to make and not worth the effort, but if someone else makes it, and they know what they are doing it is worth ordering.

"Later, the Chinese authorities took the black swan away. It is unknown if it was sent to a re-education camp or merely placed under house arrest with Jack Ma."
I heard it ended up in a wet market.

Please tell me it was intentional...
You should have linked Dung Shui to the story.

Deep fried bat is a real thing in Wuhan. You might not want to look for the video!

It also means when lost in the wilderness you can use the dog turds to find North...
A very handy survival tip so there would be a crossover to survivalists/prepper threads.
There would also be a crossover to the dog owner threads.
Could become one of those must read FR article posts.

A) What Does Appearance of Black Swan in Tiananmen Square Portend?
B) It is unknown if it was sent to a re-education camp or merely placed under house arrest with Jack Ma.
—
A) Nothing.
B) House arrest with Horse Cloud means it was parted out - most likely for some Party member’s supper - perhaps the same Parry member that received one of Jack’s organs.
