This latest story is absolute insanity. A Rutgers student has been barred from attending classes virtually, from his own home, because he didn’t get vaccinated.
Are colleges have been taken over by complete morons.
Logan Hollar transferred to Rutgers University in 2020, spending his junior year taking virtual classes from his Sandyston home in Sussex County, more than 70 miles away from the New Brunswick campus. For this school year, as a senior, the psychology major decided to sign up for all virtual classes.
He hasn’t taken, and doesn’t want, the COVID vaccine.
“I’m not in an at-risk age group. I’m healthy and I work out. I don’t find COVID to be scary,” said Hollar, 22. “If someone wants to be vaccinated, that’s fine with me, but I don’t think they should be pushed.”

This is not about health or safety, but obedience and control.
Dude needs a lawyer.
You nailed it my friend. Apply that to what the mummy in chief is gonna say later today and it’ll be clearer than ever.
Doesn’t matter the number of votes, but only who counts them.
They’re afraid that Covid will mutate into a computer virus. Or, more likely, it’s independent thinking that they find threatening.
This is correct the proper restriction. Everyone knows computers get viruses. One sneeze and the CV could jump right through a monitor pixel, travel through cyber space, and infect everyone on a Zoom class.
Feels like I read this thread a few days ago with very similar comments.
If this is what colleges have become, maybe they are doing the kid a favor.
My children worked themselves through college, as did I.
But if I had children that age now, I’d be advising them not to waste their time and money.
The dumbest Captain Obvious question ever asked! Judging from the sentence, I'm assuming this dolt is a journalism major.
ZOOM has Covid too?!?!?!
As I’ve said, the institutes of higher learning have morphed into cesspools of disinformation.
Correct. The fearful sheep have gathered together and are pushing their fear agenda on the rest of us. Too many rational minded people have fallen for it. I fear we are losing the battle.
A conservative mine-set is to basically leave people alone and let them do what they see is best. The sheep-minded herd together and force their will upon others. There are far too many sheep.
Greatest teaching moment that this student will ever receive from Rutgers.
another institooshun that is on its last legs as a refuge for learning, not indoctrination.
Follow the science. It’s clear that unvaccinated people can transmit COVID over the internet and .... umm ... there’s a peer reviews paper ... it’s around here somewhere ...
Oh shut up you anti-science deniers! Flat earther luddites! You just don’t care about kids! This is for the children!
Hope they have learning centers in the Gulags.
Weren’t there some movies or books about isolated tribes of people who refused to have their picture taken because they were convinced that the camera would capture their soul? I always thought that stuff was fiction, but these college people seem to be descended from the same tribe.
Yup - the “issue” is never really the issue. We are no longer in Kansas, Toto - always watch for the man behind the curtain when you’re in Oz.
I just received an email from our HR department with a link to a MANDATORY vaccine survey. Not anonymous. Asks for name, department, etc.
I work for a government agency in a red state which just passed a law prohibiting mandatory vaccines as a condition of employment for government employees.
