Auschwitz didn’t start off as a murder camp.

It was converted from a Polish Army barracks, and originally just used to house Polish political prisoners. Then the Nazi realized it was conveniently located near a major railroad center. At first the surrounding land was too "swampy" to expand, so they had to drain the land, before building the Death Camp portion.

Yep. But there really was credible evidence of spying, and FDR chose not to ignore it. That’s what you do when you’re in a life-or-death struggle.

Take a look at this article.

I didn’t like FDR’s domestic policies, but he was a damn good war President.

Agreed. Part of FDR’s genius is that while he set the grand strategy objectives, he left it completely up to the generals to carry things out.

Contrast that with Lyndon Johnson and George W. Bush. Those two micromanaged their wars. And we lost those wars. There’s a lesson in there somewhere.

Australia /nsw began as a penal colony
And now
Australia is ending as a penal colony.

Shame!

People have no idea December 1941. We really were knocked back on our heels. Britain stood alone. Australia was being attacked and was impotent to stop it. And the nazis were almost in artillery range of Moscow.
That was not a time for half-hearted measures.
The reason we got things turned around and became the roaring machine we were within a year or two was because we didn’t screw around one damn bit.
Anyone with any sense looks back and feels bad for Japanese Americans who got locked up. But they weren’t abused. It was a hell of a lot better to be at Manzanar than to be an American interned in the Philippines, China or elsewhere.

[[ Guess I missed the incinerators, the communal showers, and the train tracks.
Maybe that’s phase II?]]

If we are nearing the end times, those things will Likle y happen again. I would guess that the gulag Australia has built might very well be a first phase

Some people were afraid to move to peaceful Latin American countries because history shows a coup or revolution could eventually install a dictatorship. So they went to a safe country like Australia.

That’s a bunch of PBS bullshit. America did not have concentration camps. We had relocation centers. Some German and Italians were also detained. And not all Japanese descendants were detained.

Exactly. The the Emperor demanded we protect and return their citizens.

The same happened in Japan with our citizens.

There were exchanges during the war.

France recalled their ambassadors to the US and Australia. Two fascist governments teaming up.

France has seen this before…

Don’t worry, milley and his woke army of “they, them, other, Zim, zer’, or whatever they call themselves now, will keep America safe, right after they all get stabilized enough with hormones and hormone blockers to get to the battlefield, hoping agai st hope to not have emotional breakdowns while fighting.

I believe that the only actual attack on the US mainland was from a Jap ship firing on Santa Barbara, for whatever reason. Probably they were sending agents to shore...

The reality is that there were a lot of Jap traitors who would have been infiltrators, such as Mr. Sulu, back then. I know he was only a kid, but does anybody really think Mr. Sulu would turn in his Jap brethren who wanted to attack this country after he spent his adult life bashing, bitching, whining and feeling sorry for himself? Hell...he may even side with the hated Chinese against the U.S.vgiven the chance!

That is correct. Concentration camps were originally set up for political prisoners!

Point being that Japanese were forced to sell their stuff and go to these camps.
In most cases they had a week to do so,
Look at what is happening in Australia where they have built a huge camp for those who do not get the vac. as ORDERED.
I have heard camps are being built here too.

The Australian police who are enforcing this crap have made themselves the enemies of the people. They are no better than the Nazi SS, or Stalin’s NKVD, or CCP’s PLA. They are now supporting evil.

I don’t agree with forced quarantine, particularly in the form of camps, but beyond that I don’t think it’s as sinister as it looks (yet). I’m more concerned about what it could evolve into.

Be concerned when the sign over the entrance says: "Impfung macht Frei" (Vaccination makes free).
