Auschwitz is a bit of a stretch unless they’re planning to murder people there. But a gulag? Oh, yes.
Dachau, Buchenwald, Kolyma or Vorkuta might be more apt.
“Auschwitz is a bit of a stretch unless they’re planning to murder people there. But a gulag? Oh, yes.”
What other reason do they have for it?
Agree 100%. I never went to Auschwitz, but I twice visited Dachau and Flossenburg. 40 years later, I can still remember the sense of evil that permeated those places.
Auschwitz didn’t start off as a murder camp. The mass exterminations began later. This Australian camp is an exact analogue. Beware Aussies!
