Dachau, Buchenwald, Kolyma or Vorkuta might be more apt.

Agree 100%. I never went to Auschwitz, but I twice visited Dachau and Flossenburg. 40 years later, I can still remember the sense of evil that permeated those places.

Auschwitz didn’t start off as a murder camp. The mass exterminations began later. This Australian camp is an exact analogue. Beware Aussies!
