I agree that these are very close to the end times. Mystery,Babylon is a worldwide religion.
Babylon the great was the actual city.
revelation chapter 17:

The Family International’s view
The Family International (formerly known as “The Children of God”) believes that the Whore of Babylon refers to the United States of America,[58][59] with founder and former leader David Berg stating in one of his writings “all mankind worships her & loves her & fucks her & has fornication & intercourse with her & bestows upon her everything they’ve got & all their power & all! That’s Babylon! Including today’s Babylon, America, the Capitalist West & the Communist East.”[60][61]
The revelation from Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show his servants what must soon take place. Revelations contain a great deal of symbology within symbology. I admittedly lack the wisdom to understand all sealed within its verses. Some, I feel, apply to the end of Christ's Millennial Reign. The "great city" mentioned can only mean Jerusalem. "That rules over the kings of the earth" perhaps refers to the millennial reign since Christ will rule the world from Jerusalem after the Second Advent.
Other scriptures are more precise about the end of our current age. God told us the "end from the beginning." Begin in Genesis, I like to say. There is no substitute for knowledge of a great deal of scripture before tackling or trying to understand Revelations.
