It’s not about you. (typical, tho’) It’s not about B’man either. Or me.
Point is, the country stunk it up under Carter and most people suffered for it. Ditto now in progress with Biden. All except a few in high places or the exceptionally capable who can game what real wealth is left in the system are losing our freedom to do well. In the end, less prosperity means most people are less well off, and generally less free to successfully do something about it.
Saying “everyone should follow my example” sounds great, but doesn’t work for most people, or the country as a whole, in an increasingly restrictive system with failing wealth and punishments for success.
The opportunities right now are the best I’ve ever seen.
