Shares of Fake Meat Company Crash 19% as Public Rejects Bioengineered Slop
Big League Politics ^ | 11/11/21 | Richard Moorhead

The shares of a fake meat company beloved by global elites crashed a dramatic 19% on Wednesday, reeling from pitiful quarterly earnings reports and enduring resistance on the part of the public to replacing meat from western diets with bioengineered slop.

Beyond Meat lost nearly a dollar per share on Wednesday, reporting a third-quarter net loss of $55 million. The company’s executives have consistently maintained that the western public is ready to replace real meat with its synthetic bioengineered plant-based products, which many nutritionists and medical experts question as potentially dangerous.

Executives also admitted they expect a bevvy of marketing problems beleaguering the company to continue, scaring off shareholders and potential investors further.

Globalist organizations such as the World Economic Forum have sought to promote fake meat products for purposes they claim are related to climate change. The world’s wealthiest and most powerful individuals have routinely listened to speeches promoting fake meat at the Davos globalist conference, after flying into Switzerland aboard carbon-emitting private aircraft.

Bioengineered slop is a great term for it.

I watched as the amount of grocery freezer space for franken-meat explode like there was some huge demand for fake meat but no, the wasn’t. It was just a bunch on control-freak executives pushing their beliefs on us.

Go woke to broke.

In all seriousness, I’ve found some “fake meat” burgers to be quite tasty - if I don’t think of them as fake meat, but just as a type of food. If you told me vanilla ice cream was fake meat I’d hate it - as fake meat - but love it as ice cream.

The funny thing is that instead of embracing not being meat, they do all they can to look like meat...

DUB pies has started offering a fake beef pie ie impossible. I wrote them to take me off the mailing list (after 10 years of pies). I said I couldn’t risk getting fake meat by mistake. Gareth, the owner, was stunned.

“In all seriousness, I’ve found some “fake meat” burgers to be quite tasty ... “

I’ve never tried it. I don’t object to substitution, I am suspicious of what must be done to plant products to make them taste similar to meat. It seems it would not be healthy, and that’s the point of meatless meat isn’t it?

The whole idea of manufactured meat sounds gross. If you want protein but not from real meat, you can have a variety of beans and lentils. That would be cheaper and healthier than some weird frankenmeat product.

Not a chance.
For starters most Africans (1.4 billion of them) will continue to eat meat no matter what. Same as they have rejected the gay marriage nonsense.
Most of the world’s population in developing countries will reject this fake meat nonsense out of hand too.

Stay away form processed foods has been the rant for a long time. If this isn’t processed, you’re dreaming.
Ingredients: Water, pea protein*, expeller-pressed canola oil, refined coconut oil, rice protein, natural flavors, dried yeast, cocoa butter, methylcellulose, and less than 1% of potato starch, salt, potassium chloride, beet juice color, apple extract, pomegranate concentrate, sunflower lecithin, vinegar, lemon juice concentrate, vitamins and minerals (zinc sulfate, niacinamide [vitamin B3], pyridoxine hydrochloride [vitamin B6], cyanocobalamin [vitamin B12], calcium pantothenate).

Article is incorrect. Beyond Meat is no GMO and no soy. Mostly pea protein and IMO tastes better than ground beef in certain dishes.

Impossible Meat is the GMO+Soy one and I would not touch with a 10ft pole

https://wellness.consumerfreedom.com/what-is-fake-meat/

Do you like best the extra salt, the fungus or the lack of nutritive value? Or is it the risk of anaphylactic shock from the mold?
Perhaps it’s the sodium nitrate in Cell-Cultured / Lab-Grown Meat or the carcinogenic additives?

THE HIDDEN DEADLY DISRUPTOR IN THE IMPOSSIBLE BURGER AND BEYOND BURGER
Now, both of these burgers, Impossible & Beyond, have been tested and found to contain glyphosate — which is a deadly disruptor to our healthspan.7 Plus, the main ingredient of both burgers is lectin-rich (pea or soy). The bottom line is that these are BOTH ULTRA-processed foods. And if we’ve learned anything — ultra-processed foods have no place in a health-promoting diet.

Turns out, glyphosate is the most widely used herbicide worldwide. The IARC, an institute that researches the fatal effects of such herbicides, recently concluded that glyphosate is potentially dangerous. And they suspect glyphosate could cause extremely serious health concerns.
